This line is the northern part of the steam railway operating in the 19th century. In 1920, an underground line was built from Prospect Park Station north to Decalb Avenue . From that moment, trains began to go right through the southern part of the steam railway and along the new underground line, which formed the Brighton line , and the remaining section formed this line and was served by the shuttle service. Beginning in the 1960s, passenger traffic on the line began to decline, in the 1990s the line was closed, but under pressure from the public it was reopened and reconstructed.
