Biography
The son of a politician, chairman of the Congress of Peru, Nicolas de Aranibar Fernandez Cornejo. He graduated from the theological seminary, then studied law at the Higher School of Lima. Bachelor in Law. In 1860 he was admitted to the Lima Bar Association. He served in the judicial system.
From May 25, 1870 to October 17, 1871 he served as Minister of Justice and Education in the government of H. Balta .
In 1874 he was elected senator from Lima. On August 1, 1876, Congress elected him prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Peru.
From August 1876 to June 1877, and then in 1886 - Minister of Finance and Trade of Peru.
In 1886, he served as Prime Minister of Peru. Due to disagreements with President Andres, Avelino Cáceres resigned.
Diplomat. He was appointed Special Representative of the Peruvian Government in negotiations with the British Committee of Peruvian Foreign Debt Holders and sent to London.
In 1891 he was appointed plenipotentiary minister of Peru in Belgium . In 1896, he was entrusted with a mission to represent Peru at the International Arbitration Court of Lausanne ( Switzerland ).
