Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of the Tomsk Region, within the sub-taiga-forest-steppe region of the taiga zone [2] , east of the Talovka River, at a distance of about 12 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the city of Tomsk .

History
It was founded in 1888. According to 1926, there were 25 households in the village and 130 people lived (mainly Latvians ). The first-level school functioned. Administratively, it was part of the Vasilievsky Village Council of the Tomsk Tomsk District of the Siberian Territory [4] .
