Biography

In 1820 he entered the Naval Cadet Corps with midshipman (5.06.1820) [2] .

In 1823 he was promoted to warrant officer with appointment to the Black Sea Fleet (02.22.1823). In 1823-1828 on the ships of the naval fleet annually sailed in the Black Sea. He was promoted to lieutenant (02.22.1828).

In 1828, in the Utka transport transport, he sailed with the fleet off the coast of Varna , after which he moved to the Sulin brig on the Ganymede brig for escorting gunboats and iols to Varna from Izmail. First, commanding iol No. 22, and then the gunboat Barsuk, he participated in the battle of Varna ( Siege of Varna 07/22/29/09/1828). For the difference in the capture of Varna and Silistria, he was awarded the Order of St. Anne 3 tbsp. with a bow (1828).

In 1829, on a ship, Panteleimon cruised off the Rumeian shores, and participated in the capture of Sozopol (02.16.1829) and during the cutting of enemy ships in the Gulf of Faros, for which he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir 4 tbsp. with a bow (1829).

In 1831, on the frigate "Erivan" participated in the occupation of the area of Gelendzhik , the foundation of the fortress of Gelendzhik. In 1832, on a brig, Castor cruised off the Abkhaz coast. In 1833 and 1834 he sailed on the broad lake in the Black and Marmara Seas and in the Archipelago (that is, the Greek archipelago , the Aegean Sea ). For the difference in the military operations against the highlanders in 1834 at the river Juba and Pilada he was awarded the golden weapon “For Courage”.

In 1836, the Penderaclius sailed from Sevastopol to Gelendzhik on the corvette , from where, commanding the Skory tender, it moved to Sevastopol. In 1837, commanding the same tender, he cruised off the Abkhaz coast. The Tender Fast under his command crashed near the Tuapse River (05.31.1838). For the difference in the reflection of the highlanders during the shipwreck, he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 2 tbsp. Later, in the same 1838, on the memory ship Eustathius sailed off the eastern shores of the Black Sea, and participated in the case against the highlanders at the town of Shapsuho . He was promoted to lieutenant commander (01/18/1839).

In 1839-1842 he commanded the Telemak brig off the Abkhaz coast. In 1843, commanding the same brig, he occupied a post in the Odessa raid.

In 1844-1846, commanding the “Olivutz” corvette , he moved from the Black Sea to the Archipelago, and then, under the flag of Vice Admiral F. P. Litke , sailed with His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich through the ports of the Mediterranean Sea, from where he transferred to Kronstadt . He was promoted to captain of the 2nd rank (03/23/1847).

In 1848 and 1849, commanding the Kulevchi frigate , he cruised off the eastern shores of the Black Sea. He was promoted to captain of the 1st rank with the appointment of the commander of the battleship "Yagudiil" (6.12.1849).

In 1850-1854 he commanded the ship "Yagudiil" in the Black Sea. Member of the defense of Sevastopol (1854-1855) . Consisted in the garrison of Sevastopol (09/13/1854-27.08.1855), commanding batteries in the Peresyp of the third branch of the defensive line. He was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd art., The rank of rear admiral and appointed an aide-adjutant (6.12.1854) to His Imperial Majesty, leaving the commander of the 30th crew and ship. When repelling the assault on Sevastopol, he was wounded in the head at the third unit of the Sevastopol Defense (06/06/1855). Made in rear admirals (07.20.1855). A lease was granted for the rank of captain of the 1st rank, 800 rubles for 12 years (1855). Appointed commander of the 5th brigade of the Black Sea Fleet Division (08.26.1856).

In 1858 he was appointed Sevastopol commandant and correcting the post of military governor in Sevastopol (05/26/1858). After the liquidation of the post of military governor (7.10.1864), he remained in the position of the Sevastopol commandant, which he held until 1873.

Made in vice admirals (1.01.1864). In Sevastopol, he headed the local commission on the creation of the museum of the Sevastopol Defense, opened in 1869 in the house of Totleben . Organized the collection of voluntary donations to the museum fund. With his direct participation, the Russian Society of Shipping and Trade (ROPIT) was established, and a branch of the State Bank was opened in Sevastopol.

In 1873, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Sevastopol for indefatigability and courage during the defense, for work for the good of the city, in connection with the 50th anniversary (Decision of the City Council on 05.16.1873 Approved by imperial decree in 1873)

It is made in admirals (1.01.1874).

Excluded from the lists of the deceased (07/12/1880). He was buried at the Bratskoye cemetery in Sevastopol.

Family

The Kislinsky clan belonged to the old Tver nobility.

Married, had a large family. Children:
