Maly Kalchik is a river in Ukraine , a left tributary, flows into Kalchik (basin of the Sea of Azov ). Length 38 km. The catchment area is 278 km². Slope 5.1 m / km. The valley is trough-shaped.

The name Maly Kalchik is purely scientific, since in the colloquial speech of the people of Azov there is the Kalchik or Kalk form.
According to legendary descriptions of prescription, a significant number of scientists recognize that the events of the Word about Igor's regiment took place precisely on the banks of Kalka, south of Cherdakly.

The river originates in the southeastern surroundings of the city of Volnovakha. It flows directly from north to south, south of the village of Anadol, a hundred meters along the right bank there is a flooded granite quarry. It flows through the territory of Volnovakhsky and Nikolsky districts of Donetsk region. It flows into the Kalchik reservoir beyond Kremenovka, opposite Kasyanovka. Bets built.
