Description
The coat of arms of the Aginsky Buryat Autonomous Okrug is a quadrangular, with rounded lower corners, a burgundy heraldic shield pointed at the tip, edged with a yellow stripe. In the center of the shield is a circle, in the lower part of which there is a zoomorphic yellow national ornament “Hamar ugalsa”, symbolizing pets: horse , cattle, camel , sheep and goat , embodying the indigenous people's traditional commitment to animal husbandry.
To the right and left of the ornament, there are golden ears of wheat , which are intertwined four times on each side (by the number of eight genera of the Agin Buryats ) with a traditional white ribbon - the national “ hadak ”, a symbol of hospitality, the purity of the thoughts of the Buryat people, friendly and cordial attitude respect for all other nations.
At the top of the circle is the symbol of “Gal-Gulamta” - the eternal flame , the hearth , the source of life, light and well-being of the people. Along the horizontal diameter of the circle under the golden rays of the rising sun, there are mountains Alkhanay , Khaan Uula, Sogto Uula, Baataray, sacred for the local peoples ... Green and wavy blue and white stripes representing the private steppes (meadows, pastures and arable land), as well as rivers, lakes and mineral springs (arshans).
