Kishlyag or Kislyak is a former village in the territory of Armenia , which became part of the city of Darpas in the Lori region .

History
As noted by the "Geographical-Statistical Dictionary of the Russian Empire", as of 1861 the village was located in the Alexandropol district of Erivan province . 693 people lived in the settlement, there were 70 courtyards and one Armenian church. Near Kishlyag there was an acid source, water from which during boiling released a large amount of carbon dioxide. According to the inhabitants of the village, this source was formed after the earthquake of 1827 [1] . According to the "Code of Statistics on the Population of the Transcaucasian Territory" for 1893 in the village, in 120 houses, 1,149 people lived - all Armenians [2] . According to the "Caucasian calendar" for 1908, 1736 people lived in the village [3]
