History
The original name is Privolnaya. One of the oldest streets of the city, existed even in the predecessor of Makhachkala, the city of Port Petrovsk (together with Baryatinsky (now Buynaksky ), Cathedral (now - Oscar Street ) and Engineering (now R. Gamzatova ) [2] .
With the establishment of Soviet power, it changed its name to Sadovaya, and already in 1922 it was renamed Markov Street, in honor of the Russian revolutionary figure of the beginning of the 20th century, Sergey Markov , a member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Caucasus Front, the head of the Caucasian District of Railways, executed that year by the White Guards .
In 1932-1940, a number of public buildings were erected on the street - the Supreme Council [3] (now the building houses the Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts named after P. S. Gamzatova ), the Supreme Court , the Ministry of Agriculture, the Pedagogical Institute , and the Road College [4 ]
On November 4, 1998, it was again renamed Nasrutdinova Street (I. Nasrutdinov - chairman of the collective farm, father of the former Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan U. I. Nasrutdinov ).
The modern name since March 07, 2000. Abdurakhman Daniyalov (1908-1981) - Soviet and Dagestan political and party leader, prominent state and socio-political leader of Dagestan, diplomat, People's Commissar of Agriculture of the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1937-1939), Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1940-1948), First Secretary of the Dagestan Regional Committee of the CPSU (1948-1967), Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Dagestan ASSR (1967-1970).
