Story

The film describes the effects of invading alien psyclone invaders on Earth . In 3000, humanity is an endangered species, and those who fail to hide in mountainous settlements are enslaved by aliens like animal humans.

In the film, the greedy head of security, Terl ( Travolta ), secretly forces a group of animal people to extract gold for him on the territory of increased radioactive background, as the gas that psyche breathes explodes at such a concentration of radiation . To this end, he teaches one of the most prominent people to the language and technology of psykel, which is illegal in an alien society. This turns out to be a turning point for both civilizations.

Johnny Goodboy Tyler ( Pepper ) does not want to remain a slave to aliens forever and, after reading history books, he realizes that he is a descendant of a great race. Secretly teaching other people the simplest concepts (such as mathematics and mechanics), he begins to organize resistance.

Enlisting the help of Terle's angry assistant, Ker ( Whitaker ), he gains access to the weapons of the psyke, and also climbs to the ancient US military bases, where he discovers an atomic bomb in working condition. Knowing about the explosiveness of the interaction of radiation and gas of gases, he realizes that he has only one chance to put an end to this threat forever.

At the appointed hour, all the slaves begin an uprising in the "dome" - a huge building where the psyche can breathe without masks. When the security forces try to calm the animal people, one of Johnny's assistants blows up the roof of the dome and the psyche suffocates. An air battle of the Harrier planes found on the military base with the psy-aircraft is taking place over the dome. In the meantime, Johnny himself is trying to activate the psyker of a political person to throw a volunteer with an atomic bomb on Psyklo, the alien home planet, knowing that a nuclear explosion will turn the atmosphere of that world into a flaming ball (this was what the creators of the first atomic bomb were afraid of).

But the cunning Thurl intercepts Johnny, trying to kill him and escape with the mined gold (in fact, Johnny just pulled out gold bars from Fort Knox ). In a scuffle, Johnny puts on a collar with a bomb (removed from his girlfriend) on Thurl's hand. Turl, thinking that the collar remained in place, turned on the transmitter and was left without a hand, and Johnny managed to activate the teleporter. A volunteer pushes a button just when he is surrounded by Psykel soldiers.

The home world of the psyche has been destroyed, and Thurle and Ker are the only surviving psyche on Earth. Terra is trapped in the chamber of Fort Knox, where he will forever remain surrounded by her beloved gold. Ker promises people to teach them the psykel technology instead of being appointed to the post of “main psyche”. The thrall is left alive in the event of the arrival of psycles from other colonies wishing to find the culprit in the death of their home world. This is where Terl’s scapegoat comes in handy.
