Botanical Description

Shrub , pressed, silvery pubescent . The stems are thin, branched, 8-10 cm tall. Leaves are pinnate, 1.5-3 cm long, petioles up to 4 cm long; leaflets 2-4-pair, oval or oblong-obovate, obtuse; lower stipules fused, ovate-triangular, upper - oblong-ovate.

Peduncles 1.5-3 cm long, 1-3-flowered, with umbellate-related flowers ; bracts oblong-lanceolate; the cup is tubular, the teeth are linear; corolla of the moth type , purple, purple or yellow, 20-22 mm long. Beans are sessile, linear, protruding obliquely upward, two-nosed, slightly compressed from the sides, 15-25 mm long, 3 mm wide. Flowering in June-July.

Ecology

Xerophyte , calcephilus , grows in fissures of limestone rocks and among stones in the middle mountain belt at an altitude of 1000-1800 m.

A rare species is included in the Red Book of Russia and Dagestan [2] : the narrow-local endemic of Dagestan , in which about 10 localities are known ( Akushinsky , Akhvakhsky , Botlikhsky , Gergebilsky , Gunibsky and Levashinsky districts ) containing not more than 5000 copies.
