Emergency: Quantum Leap is the debut mini-album of the South Korean project boy band X1 , formed in 2019 through the survival show Produce X 1 . The album was released in digital and physical form on August 27, 2019 by Swing Entertainment.

Background and Release
X1 was formed through the reality show Product X 101 , the fourth season of a series of competitive shows from Mnet Product 101 . With the end of the show in July 2019, Swing Entertainment's label announced that the X1 will officially debut on August 27, 2019. [one]
The debut mini-album called Emergency: Quantum Leap was announced on August 1. Conceptual images with the participation of each of the participants were released from August 9 to 19. [2]
On August 19, the track list was revealed, X1 recorded their own versions of the songs “X1-MA”, “U Got It” and “Move” from Product X 101 , in addition, the album also included 4 new songs, intro “Stand Up”, the title track "Flash" composed by Score, Megatone and Onestar (Monotree), "You're the Prettiest When You Smile" and "It's Okay". Promotion
Prior to their debut, the group began its promotion through its X1 Flash reality show, which premiered on August 22, 2019 on the cable channel Mnet. The show will show the participants how they prepare for their debut. [5]
The group debuted on August 27, 2019 with a debut showcase at the Gocheok Sky Dome. [6]
The band first performed at a music show on M! Countdown August 29, 2019. They won their first music trophy at The Show on September 1st. [7]
