Biography
In 1895 he graduated from the Military School in Sofia (now the National Military University named after Vasil Levsky ) and received the rank of second lieutenant . He served in the 20th Infantry Regiment and in the military school. In 1899 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1904 he became captain.
Member of the First Balkan War (1912-1913). He commanded a unit in the 54th Infantry Regiment, in July 1913 received the rank of Major .
During the First World War in 1916 he was commander of a battalion of an infantry regiment, then took command of the 22nd Thracian infantry regiment. In August 1916 he became a lieutenant colonel and was appointed commander of the 66th Infantry Regiment. After the end of the war in 1919 - Colonel .
After the war, he served as commander of the 5th border section, commander of the 4th infantry regiment and commander of the 8th infantry division. In 1926 he was appointed head of the office of the Ministry of War. In March 1928 he was promoted to major general .
In 1929, he resigned and for some time headed the Office of Complaints and Appeals of the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria.
From November 23, 1935 to July 4, 1936 he served as Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Order of Bulgaria.
