History
The decision to create the Borlag was made on January 15, 1949 by Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 172-52 under the heading "Top Secret" [1] The Borlag Office was located initially in the city of Chita , and subsequently in the village of Sinelga , Chita Region . In the operational command, he reported directly to the Main Directorate of Forced Labor Camps and Colonies ( GULAG ).

Production
