Clara Borisovna Novikova (nee Herzer ; born December 12, 1946 , Kiev , USSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian entertainer, comedian, actress, singer, TV presenter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 1992 ) [1] , People's Artist of the Russian Federation ( 1997 ) [2] . Member of the Public Council of the Russian Jewish Congress [3] .

Biography
She was born on December 12, 1946 in Kiev , in a family of Boris Zinovievich Gertser, natives of Volodarsk-Volynsky (June 22, 1914-2004), the director of a shoe store on Podol , a front-line soldier who was wounded and contused, who fought in Stalingrad and Sevastopol and Polina Semyonovna Kulkina (mind . 1997) - housewives, later she worked at the confectionery factory them. She graduated from the Kiev studio of variety and circus art and the Moscow State Institute of Theater Arts .
In 1974, she became a laureate of the All-Union contest of pop artists, the chairman of the jury of which was Arkady Raikin .
In 1976 she entered the Moscow Concert and, with the help of the administrator Pavel Leonidov, settled in Moscow .
She created hundreds of images on the stage, the most famous of which is “Aunt Sonya”. The creator of the image, the author of the first monologue of Aunt Sonya, is Marian Belenky . Subsequently, Aunt Sony’s monologues were written by other authors.
Since 1992, Klara Novikova has been working at the Moscow Theater of Variety Miniatures , led by Mikhail Zhvanetsky . In the same year, Klara Novikova received the Golden Ostap professional award at the International Festival of Satire and Humor in St. Petersburg .
In 1995, she won the Arkady Raikin Cup at the international festival “MORE SMEHA” in Riga.

In 2010, together with the Gesher Theater , Klara Novikova first tried her hand in the role of a drama actress, playing the main female role in the play “Late Love” (staged by director Evgeny Arie based on Valery Mukharyamov’s play “In the Shadow of the Vineyard”, based on the story of the Nobel Prize winner Isaac Bashevis-Singer [7] ).
