Burns (Greek γωρυτός) - a wooden case for a bow and arrow , used mainly by Scythians in the late VI - early II centuries BC. e.
Gorites covered with gold overlaid plates with artistic relief images were found in the Scythian mounds of Solokh and Chertomlyk (IV century BC). The image of the gorite is on a golden Scythian vase from the Kul-Oba mound (IV century BC).
