Origin of title
Named September 26, 1980 in honor of organic chemist Alexander Nikolaevich Nesmeyanov ( 1889 - 1980 ), the founder and first director of the Institute of Organoelement Compounds , now bearing his name and adjacent to the street [1] [2] .
