Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , on the left bank of the Bychok River , at a distance of about 18 kilometers (in a straight line) to the south-southwest (SSW) from the urban-type settlement Kastornoe , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 190 meters above sea level [2] .
