Life and career
Falsey was born in New Haven , Connecticut , into the family of Patricia Helen and John Henry Falsey. [1] He graduated from Hampshire College and Iowa University [1] .
In 1979, Falsey joined the team of screenwriters of the series "White Shadow", where he met his future creative partner Joshua Brand . Together with Brand, he created the series Saint Elswer , The Year of Life, The North Side , I Will Fly Away, and Going to Extremes. For his work on Year of Life in 1987, Falsey won his first Emmy Award. He won two more Emmy Awards, as well as a US Producers Guild Award for his work on the North Side.
Falsey died on January 3, 2019 as a result of a head injury [2] .
