Story
A bored wife, Madame Bede, a provincial housewife, lives with a sense of abandonment and lack of attention from her husband, a woman suffers in the suffocating nets of bourgeois marriage and dreams of living far beyond the monotonous existence.
Her possible release - the only thing that can still cause a smile on her face - splits from the fact that her husband invades in a waking dream, the heroine has only one solution - to kill him. At some point, the woman decides to do so.
Madame Bede was used to the fact that Monsieur Bede was constantly playing a silly joke with her. Often he puts an unloaded revolver to his temple and threatens to shoot himself. After another quarrel with her husband, she secretly loads the revolver, hoping that he accidentally shoots himself next time. However, after a sleepless night, Madame Bede, feeling remorse, decides to abandon this idea and discharge her weapon in the morning. Unfortunately, Monsieur Bede was the first to get to the revolver, thinking that he was, as usual, unloaded and fired. The gun misfires and the husband thinks that Madame Bede tried to commit suicide; he hugs her and says: “How can I live without you?” ...
