Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , on the left bank of the Olkhovatsky stream (tributary of Olym ), at a distance of about 12 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-north-west (WNW) from urban settlement Kastornoye , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 196 meters above sea level [2] .
