Spinomantis is a genus of tailless amphibians from the family Mantellidae . Endemic of the island of Madagascar . Currently, it contains 13 species [1] . These are tree or land frogs that live in small streams or along them. Most species are nocturnal [2] .

The genus Spinomantis was described as a subgenus of the genus Madagascar frogs in 1992 [3] . He was raised to the clan in 2006 [1] [2] .
Spinomantis - frogs of small or medium size, body length of adults 22-60 mm. On the fingers there are rudimentary or moderately developed membranes. The fingertips are noticeably enlarged. In males, a subgular throat sac [2] .
