Ali Abdul Aal Sayed Ahmed

Abdel Aal was born on November 29, 1948. ^[1] He studied law and received his degree in 1972. The following year, he began working as deputy prosecutor. In 1974, he became a university professor. ^[1] Ten years later, he received his doctorate from Paris State University. ^{[1] [2]}

In 1992, he was an adviser on constitutional matters in the Egyptian parliament. In 1993, he helped with the drafting of the Ethiopian Constitution. As a constitutional adviser, he served on the Royal Court of Kuwait from 1993 to 2011. ^{[1] [2]} Abdul Aal worked as a professor of constitutional law at Ain Shams University. ^{[1] [3]}

Abdel Aal was one of the constitutional experts who worked on the 2014 Egyptian Constitution. ^{[1] [4]} In 2015, he was the head of a committee that drafted three new election laws. ^[five]

In the 2015 parliamentary elections, Abdul Aal joined the party “For the Love of Egypt” for the Aswan constituency. ^[1] He was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives on January 10, 2016, receiving 401 of 585 votes. ^[2]
