Nikolaychik Vladimir Mikhailovich ( 1921 , Baku - 2002 ), Soviet and Russian American scientist, Doctor of Law ( 1977 , doctoral dissertation on "The crisis of the legal foundations of the police fight against crime in the United States"). Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation ( 1999 ).

Biography

Member of World War II .

He graduated from the Moscow Law Institute ( 1949 ), and then graduate school of the Institute of State and Law of the USSR Academy of Sciences ( 1952 ).

Since 1968, he was an employee of the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (RAS). Specialist in American Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Forensics. He is the author of a number of works devoted to the analysis of the concepts of law enforcement policy, the state and dynamics of crime in the USA, as well as comparative studies of legal problems in the USA and Russia (USSR).
