Biography
In 1886 he entered service after graduating from the Nikolaev Cadet Corps . In 1897, after graduating from the Konstantinovsky Artillery School, he was released as second lieutenant to the Separate Trans-Baikal Artillery Division. In 1901 he was promoted to lieutenant .
Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War as part of the 4th East Siberian artillery brigade of the Port Arthur fortress garrison was wounded and shell-shocked. For military distinctions in this war, he was awarded the rank of staff captain and a number of military orders, including on October 24, 1904, the Order of St. George of the 4th degree and May 20, 1907 with the Golden Weapon “For Courage” .
In 1909 he was promoted to captain ; in 1912, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel as commander of the 3rd battery of the Caucasian Grenadier Artillery Brigade. Since 1914, a participant in the First World War as part of his battery. In 1915 he was promoted to colonel for military distinctions, since 1916 he was commander of the 2nd division of the Caucasian Grenadier Artillery Brigade. By the highest order of November 9, 1916, he was expelled from the lists of the deceased.
