History
Former Gymnasic street. The name received in connection with the Taganrog Commercial Gymnasium located on it, opened in 1806 as requested by the then Taganrog Mayor Baron B. B. Kampenhausen [2] .
Renamed in 1923 to the street of the October Revolution [3] . Later, the name was transformed into Oktyabrskaya Street [3] .
