Kuzmin-Tarasov, Alexey Alexandrovich

Alexey Kuzmin-Tarasov was born in Moscow, in 1996 he left with his family in Cologne. In 2005 he graduated from high school in the city of Kerpen (Germany). In 2005-2007 he studied at a college in Khorram (Germany) with a degree in graphic design.

In 2007, he returned to Moscow and entered the GITIS directing department. In 2011 he graduated from the workshop of E. B. Kamenkovich and D. A. Krymov . In 2010, he staged a play based on Tom Stoppard ’s play “ The Invention of Love, ” which was approved by the author himself.

As part of the Begovaya Workshop No. 2, in 2011, he staged the play “Friendship of Her Hips” based on the play by the American playwright M. Mayok ( Center for Drama and Director ). For the international festival of the theater for children “Big Change” - the play “Louise / Bears” based on the play by Karin Ser. Participated in Russian and international theater laboratories.

He played in the play "Pushkin House" based on the novel by Andrei Bitov on the stage of the theater Workshop of Peter Fomenko .

In the Theater. Vl. Mayakovsky, together with the playwright Sasha Denisova, staged the play Mayakovsky goes for sugar . The play was written specifically for the artists of the troupe of the Mayakovsky Theater.

In 2014, together with the choreographer Ramune Khodorkaite, he staged the play “Ich suche F!” On the RATI-GITIS stage (workshop of E. B. Kamenkovich and D. A. Krymov). In 2015, the premiere of the play " Promise at Dawn " based on the autobiographical novel of Romain Gary at the stage of the Theater. Pushkin . The performance entered the Long List of the Golden Mask Award. in 2016 and 2017 at the Center. Sun Meyerhold’s performances were staged by Marie Stuart by Friedrich Schiller together with choreographer Ramune Khodorkaite and Siri based on a play by Natalia Zaitseva .

In 2018, at the theater Pyotr Fomenko ’s Workshop , the premiere of the play by Alexei Kuzmin-Tarasov based on the play by Dmitry Danilov “Serezha is very dumb” took place.

Together with Anna Kolchina, he released the feature film “ Odyssey of Peter ” (premiere on the channel “Culture” on December 11, 2018). The film was presented at the international film festivals “ Window to Europe ”, “East & West”, Haifa 34th International Film Festival , Filmfest Hamburg , Cape Town International Film Festival , Sao Paulo International Film Festival , “Sputnik nad Poland”, Russian Film Week in London, etc. As well as the documentary film “ Africa Will Tell ” ( Documentary Cinema Center ), the premiere took place at the Artdocfest Film Festival in December 2018.
