History
The village of Buranovo was taken into account in the 1926 census in the List of Populated Places of the Siberian Territory (serial number in the district 519). The year of foundation of the village is indicated - 1720. The village was part of the Pokrovsky district of the Rubtsovsky district , it was noted that there was one shop, a village council and an elementary school [3] .
Geography
The village of Buranovo is located in the southern part of the Altai Territory, on the right bank of the Charysh River, a tributary of the Ob River . Near the village there is Lake New Staritsa, the Kamyshinka River flows.
