Despite the fact that the drink is a product of fermentation, mustard seeds prevent the accumulation of alcohol. The study showed that the drink has an antioxidant effect [3] .
On December 20, 1930, while visiting the city of Kirklareli , Mustafa Atatürk tasted this drink and ordered the start of its industrial production throughout the country.
