Biography
Place of birth: Estonia, Rakvere district, Koonu village.
Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1945
From July 27, 1942 to 1946 he served in the Red Army , participant in the Great Patriotic War : Kalinin , Leningrad , 2nd Baltic fronts , commander of a small platoon (drafted from the Ulyanovsk region ).
He graduated from the Party School at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Estonia (1950), the Higher School of Economics at the Central Committee of the CPSU (1957), and the Estonian Agricultural Academy (1969).
Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Rakvere MTS (1950–1951), Chairman of the Vääne-Marya District Executive Committee (1951–1952, 1953–1955 and 1957–1959), Chairman (1955–1957).
Since 1959, the director of the Vinnitsa reference and demonstrative state farm-technical school of the Rakvere district.
Hero of Socialist Labor (1965). He was awarded the orders of Lenin, World War II degree, Red Star, Red Banner of Labor, "Badge of Honor", two gold and silver medals of VDNH .
Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (Council of Nationalities) from the Rakvere Southern Electoral District No. 473 of the Estonian SSR of the VIII convocation (1970). The delegate of the XXIII Congress of the CPSU.
He died in Tallinn on September 30, 1991.
