Biography

Imshenetskiy Nikolay Ivanovich was born in 1918 in the village of Buras , in the family of a tailor. In 1936, after graduating from high school, N. Imshenetskiy entered the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute [1] , which he graduated from as an external student in 1939. In November of that year, he was drafted into the Navy . He participated in the battles with white fins on the Karelian front , and after the war with Finland , with the very first batch of sailors and border guards, he got to the Hanko peninsula rented by the Soviet Union, where he worked as a correspondent for the newspaper Defender of the Motherland [2] .

From the first days of World War II, N. Imshenetskiy was appointed special correspondent for the newspaper Red Gangut to the naval landing squad of Captain B. Granin . After the Soviet command evacuated the naval fortress of Hanko, he worked as a correspondent for the newspapers Defender of the Homeland and Fire Shield in Kronstadt , and then, until the end of World War II, participated in the defense of Leningrad , in the battles to liberate Poland , Hungary , Czechoslovakia [3 ] .

From the end of 1946 to 1949, N. Imshenetskiy worked as a correspondent for the Red Fleet newspaper, first in the North and then in the Baltic Fleets [2] .

Creativity

Since 1949, after returning to Kyrgyzstan , N. Imshenetskiy wrote a series of essays. In 1950, the Kyrgyz State Publishing House published the first book of poems by N. Imshenetskiy “With all my heart”, dedicated to the valiant Soviet sailors [2] .

Several years in a row N. Imshenetskiy went to high-mountain pastures . The result of the poet’s work was his large poem Susamyr, published in 1954, dedicated to the labor affairs of livestock breeders in Kyrgyzstan [2] .

In 1958, N. Imshenetskiy published the first book of lyric poems, “Native People” [2] .
