Biography

Born May 2, 1910 in the city of Skole (now Lviv region ).

In 1930 he graduated from the Stryi gymnasium. He studied at the Law Faculty of the University of Lublin. He entered the UVO, and then to the OUN, the district head of the OUN in the Skolovshchina. Repeatedly arrested for anti-Polish speech.

In 1938-1939, the company commander of the Carpathian Sich , coronet. Member of the battles against the Hungarian army near Khust . The wounded was captured, but was soon released.

A participant in the Bandera campaign groups of the OUN in 1941. In the fall of 1941, the Gestapo was arrested and detained for almost two years.

After his release in 1943 - the commander of the battalion ONS "Black Devils". In the first half of 1944, the commander of the military district "Goverla" in the UPA- "West" group, lieutenant. Head of the UPA mission abroad. In the years 1947-1955. published a military magazine "Before Zbroї". Since 1949, lieutenant colonel of the UPA.

He lived in exile in Munich, where he died on August 5, 1967. He was buried in the Waldfriedhof cemetery.
