Herpsilochmus stotzi (lat.) - a species of birds from the family typical ants . Known from the central part of the Brazilian Amazon. Described in 2013 [1] . They feed on insects. IUCN has assigned the LC protection status to the species [2] .

Description
The total length of the bird is about 11.5 cm and weight is 10.8 g. The males have a black cap with separate white spots or veins, small black feathers on the forehead have yellowish-brown tips giving the effect of stripedness. The lateral surface of the neck and the entire upper body are gray in color with a faint olive green tint. The arrangement of feathers on the black wings gives the impression of two distinct white stripes.
