History

The band released their first album, “Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest” (“Greetings to the People at the Drinking Festival”) under the label Solistitium Records on March 15, 2005. Their second album, Brakebein, was released by Omvina on May 24, 2006. In 2007, the band's first concert ever took place at the Barther Metal Openair festival in Germany.

Most of TrollfesT’s texts are written in the fictional language Trollspråk, which is a mixture of Norwegian and German.

The group makes extensive use of non-standard musical instruments for metal groups, such as an accordion , trumpet , saxophone , bouzouki , bells , mellotron , etc.

April 29, 2011 the group released the album En Kvest For Den Hellige Gral [1] . The next Brumlebassen album was released on August 24, 2012. In 2013, A Decade of Drekkadence was released on vinyl and a full-length album, Kaptein Kaos , was released on March 28, 2014.
