Uskov, Sergey Pavlovich

Sergey Pavlovich Uskov (born August 10, 1999 ) is a Moldavian taekwondo player . Born in the Primorsky Territory , in the village of Spassk. In childhood, he moved to the capital of Transnistria, Tiraspol , where he lives to this day.

Career

He came to taekwondo at age 6. Currently lives in the PMR in Tiraspol , where he trains.

The first major career achievement was 5th place at the World Junior Championships in Canada. He spent 4 fights, losing a medal to the future silver medalist from Morocco in an additional round, defeating athletes from Croatia, the Philippines and Egypt on his way to it.

In 2017, he won bronze at the European Championships in Bulgaria in the Olympic weight categories, losing to the semi-final to Mikhail Artamonov by only one point. And immediately after this tournament was followed by another bronze medal from the European Championship in Turkey in early 2018.

In 2017, he won two international-class tournaments Sofia Open and Polish Open.

Also in 2017, she is the vice-champion of the Russian Open Championship, losing in the final to the three-time world champion Korean Kim Tae-hun

In 2018, he won the annual President’s Cup held in Athens, where all the leading athletes of the world participated, where he received 20 Olympic Rating points
