The European Parliament elections in France were held on May 26, 2019 in France in Europe, and in the overseas departments of Saint Pierre and Miquelon , Saint Barthélemy , Saint Martin , Guadeloupe , Martinique , Guiana and French Polynesia , as well as in polling stations, open at embassies and consulates on the American continent - May 25 [1] . According to their results, 79 deputies from France out of 751 deputies of the European Parliament were elected.

Voting procedure
79 French MPs were elected on the basis of a proportional system for a single national constituency, voting was for the lists as a whole, and not for specific candidates on the lists , the percentage barrier was set at 5% [1] . Five of the elected deputies will receive mandates only after Britain leaves the European Union [2] .
