Blister ( Latin urtica ) is the primary non-celiac element resulting from the limited acute inflammatory edema of the papillary dermis . Differs ephemeral (there is no more than a few hours), disappears without a trace. It occurs as an allergic reaction to endogenous and exogenous stimuli. Observed with insect bites, urticaria and toxidermia.
Blisters are round or irregular in shape. Clinically - dense, towering areas of skin , pink, irregular outlines. Accompanied by itching and burning. Characterized by a sudden, almost instantaneous occurrence, short-term (a few minutes or hours) existence and rapid traceless disappearance.
It is a common mistake to count blisters after burns and physical irritation as blisters.
