Hayes' Hotel is a hotel located in the Irish city of Turles ( Tipperary County on Liberty Square. In 1884, the Gaelic Athletic Association was founded in the billiard room of this hotel.

History
In the 18th century, the hotel was a store called The Star and Garter . In the 1830s, the building was bought by William Boyton, who made it a hotel called Boyton's Hotel , and in the 1870s, Eliza J. Hayes , who renamed the hotel to “Private”, became the owner. and the Hayes Family Hotel ”( English Hayes' Commercial and Family Hotel ) [1] .
On November 1, 1884, several people gathered in the hotel’s billiard room to develop a plan and structure for an organization designed to preserve and enhance Ireland’s sports heritage — the Gaelic Athletic Association became that organization. The founders were Michael Kasak ( County Clare ), Maurice Lavigne , Joseph Kevin Bracken , Thomas St. George McCarthy (District Inspector, Royal Irish Police, ), P.J. Ryan ( County Tipperary ), John Wise Power, and John Mackay [2] . In this hotel, all the fans of Hurling gather to watch the finals of the Manster Championship if it takes place in Turls - there are especially many visitors if the teams “ Tipperary "And" Cork ", The most important opponents [3] .
In April 2013, the hotel came under competitive management, remaining open during such management, while the sale of rooms was not carried out [4] . In October 2014, a resident of Fetard Jack Halley ( English Jack Halley ) bought the building for 650 thousand euros at auction [5] .
