Olidiana fletcheri (lat.) Is a species of jumping insects of the genus Olidiana from the family of cicadas (Cicadellidae). Oriental area : India . Named after Dr. Murray J. Fletcher (Australia), a major specialist in cicada insects. The overall color is reddish-brown. The face is light brown. Fore wings are brown. Hind femora, tibiae and tarsi brown, yellow setae of hind tibia. The length of the males is 6.3-6.4 mm; width of head through eyes 1.6 mm. Pygofer laterally triangular, longer than its height, without noticeable caudodorsal protrusion, but with a small apical lobe. Edeagus is long, narrow, tubular with one subapical process. Similar in habitus to Olidiana fasciculata , differing in the details of the structure of the genitals. The species was described in 2019 by entomologists CA Viraktamath and Naresh M. Meshram ( India ) [1] [2] .
