Calodia tridenta (lat.) - a species of jumping insects of the genus Calodia from the family of cicadas (Cicadellidae). Oriental area : India . The overall color is reddish-brown. Head, pronotum and mesonotum are black. The face is yellow with brown frontal seams. Eyes and ocelli are black; fore wings are brown; metastarnitis is black. Spikes of hind legs yellow, claws black. The length of the males is 6.7 mm; the width of the head through the eyes is 1.8 mm. The scutellum is large, its length is equal to or greater than the length of the pronotum . The head is subconical, distinctly pronotum already; narrow forehead. The eyes are relatively large, hemispherical. Clypeus is long, narrow. Similar in habitus to Calodia subcrista , differing in the details of the structure of the genitals. The species was described in 2019 by entomologists CA Viraktamath and Naresh M. Meshram ( India ) [1] [2] .
