1987-1988: military service in the Greek Air Force (as a programmer) [2] .

Education

Athens National Technical University (Mechanical Engineering diploma, 1986), Virginia Polytechnic University and State University (Master of Aerospace Engineering, 1987), Purdue University (Master of Applied Mathematics, 1992; Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics, 1993; postdoctoral student, 1993— 1994) [1] [2] [4] [10] .
