ePon Monaco 2019 (officially the 2019 FIA Formula E Monaco ePrix ) is the Formula E championship car race that took place on May 11 at the Monte Carlo city circuit (short configuration) in Monaco . This was the ninth stage of the season 2018β19 , as well as the third in the history of the formula E ePri Monaco. The pilot of the e.DAMS team Oliver Rowland won the pole position, but due to the penalty received in the previous race, Jean-Eric Verne [1] , the pilot of the DS Techeetah team, started from the pole position, he also became the winner of this race [2 ] . The victory in this race allowed Jean-Eric Verne to become the leader of the individual standings, and the DS Techeetah team to increase their advantage in the team standings.

Events before eP
It was originally planned that ePri Monaco will take place on the Monte Carlo circuit in the full configuration that Formula 1 uses [3] , but the FIA banned it and the race was again on a short circuit, as it was the previous two times [4] .
After the race in Paris , just three riders received fines in the form of losing three positions at the start of the next race: Jerome D'Ambrosio for a clash with Sam Bird , Edoardo Mortara for a clash with Alex Lynn and Oliver Rowdend for a clash with Alexander Sims [5] .
Felipe Nasr again decided to skip the stage for the sake of participating in the IMSA series races. As at the last stage, it will be replaced by Maximilian Gunter [6] .
