Biography
Born January 16, 1953 in Tallinn . Father - a native of Narva , military commissar ; mother - a native of Toila , in her family were Swedes , Germans , Estonians [1] [2] .
Eugene’s childhood passed in the vicinity of Kadriorg and Syle Street; he was an ordinary city guy [2] .
After graduating from Tallinn 31st secondary school, he decided to enter the Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School , but he did not succeed. He spent a year in the laboratory of the Tallinn Polytechnic Institute , then entered the Syzran Higher Military Aviation School . In 1975, he received a helicopter engineer diploma and the rank of lieutenant . [one]
He was sent to serve in Arkhangelsk , in the transport regiment of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy , which included one aircraft and two helicopter squadrons. The squadron, which was enlisted Pisarev, totaled 12 helicopters. He started as a co-pilot , after a year of service he became the commander of the Mi-8 helicopter. In the North he served 20 years, of which 5 years - in Norilsk . He became the commander of a helicopter squadron, received the rank of lieutenant colonel ; under his command there were 70 subordinates. [one]
For residents of the Far North, the helicopter was more famous than any other vehicle; many have only heard of a train, ship, or car. A helicopter delivered them food and goods, he also transported people. Pisarev's squadron operated in the harsh conditions of the subarctic climate . When the process of reducing the army began during the years of perestroika , the regiment of Evgeny Pisarev was disbanded. In 1990, the Pisarev family returned to Estonia. Evgeni Pisarev received Estonian citizenship , as his parents were legal successors of the Republic of Estonia. At first, he was unable to work in his specialty, since then there were no helicopters in Estonia. For several years he served in the of Harju County . [1] [2]
He returned to work as a pilot after the crash of the Estonia ferry , in 1994 , when the Estonian border squadron received from Germany humanitarian aid 4 Mi-8 helicopters for rescue operations. He led a squadron of four Mi-8 helicopters; by 2009, all of them had exhausted their resources, and the border detachment received two Agusta Westland helicopters. Evgeny Pisarev's daily work was on duty, rescue and search work , extinguishing forest fires . In recent years, he has been mainly engaged in training young pilots. [one]
