Geography
The area of the village is 14 hectares [2] .
History
The development of the village during the Soviet period is closely connected with the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the timber processing industry.
In 1947, a railway was built that connected the Pikhtovsky region with the Trans-Siberian Railway , which passed through the villages of Konovalovka, Laptevka, Orlovka, Ershovka, Malchikha , Marchikha, Pikhtovka .
To date, the road has been dismantled, and therefore residents of the village can access the regional center only by road and bus.
