Kamenka is a village in the Bagrationovsky district of the Kaliningrad region . Until 2017, it was part of the Dolgorukovsky rural settlement .

Geography
The village of Kamenka is located in the southwestern part of the Kaliningrad region, 14 km northwest of the regional center, the city of Bagrationovsk , about 23 km in a straight line south of the southern border of the regional center, the city of Kaliningrad .
History
The settlement belongs to the historical region of ancient Prussia named Warmia . In the past, the settlement consisted of two separate settlements named Gross Krucken and Klein Krucken . In 1928, the settlements were united into a single community of Krucken.
Following the results of World War II, it was transferred to the USSR, together with the entire northern part of East Prussia . In 1946, Krucken was renamed the village of Kamenka [2] .
Population
In 1910, 106 people lived in Gross Kruecken, and 33 people lived in Klein Kruecken.
