Biography
A native of London , Charles Hannaford began his career at . In 1920, he began to play for the London Millwall . He spent three seasons in the team, playing 44 matches and scoring 14 goals.
In 1923 he became a player in another London club, Charlton Athletic . He played 24 matches for the team and scored 3 goals. In the same year he moved to the London “ Clapton Orient ”. Spent 68 matches for the team, scored 10 goals.
In December 1925 he moved to Manchester United [3] . He made his debut for the club on December 28, 1925 in the First Division match against Leicester City [4] . In total, in the 1925/26 season he spent 5 matches for the team. The following season he played another 7 matches, but never scored [1] . In June 1927 he left the club [3] .
In September 1928 he again became a Clapton Orient player [2] , having played four games for him in the 1928/29 season .
