Champion of Paraguay 1996. In 1999, he shared 1-3 places in the national championship with E. Peralta and C. Valiente . As a result of an additional match-tournament, he received a bronze medal.

The national team of Paraguay is a participant in three chess olympiads (1996, 2002 and 2008) and the world team championship among students in 1991.

In 2009, he represented Paraguay in the zonal tournament , where he shared 1-3 places with I. Morovich and A. Rodriguez Vila .
