Cereal metalfish [1] ( lat. Plusia festucae ) is a butterfly from the family Scoop ( Noctuidae ).

Wingspan 34–46 mm. Fore wings brown, with uneven deposition of golden scales; in the center are two golden, often touching spots; at the apex there are a number of elongated spots of the same color, the length of which significantly exceeds the width.
Caterpillars live on various cereals and sedges .
Eurasian polyzonal view. It is quite common in both the steppe and forest areas, from June to September, in two generations.
