Kunsthalle Düsseldorf [1] ( German: Kunsthalle Düsseldorf ) - an art museum in the city of Düsseldorf ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), opened in the current building in the style of brutalism in 1967; dates back to the formation of the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen art association in 1829, which today has about 3,500 members. Kunsthalle, which is a venue for contemporary art exhibitions, has a branch called “Kunst im Tunnel” - located on the banks of the Rhine .
