It existed from 1986 to 1999 and specialized in training pilots for military aviation helicopters . Flight training of cadets of the school was conducted in the training helicopter regiment on helicopters Mi-2 and Mi-8 .
On the territory of the school today - the training center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the special forces unit of the internal troops , as well as a boarding school with initial flight training.
Content
History
The school was created by order of the Minister of Defense of the USSR No. 052 of 03/04/1983, which implemented the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 6, 1983 No. 16-5 "On the creation in Ufa of the higher military aviation school of pilots." The Minister ordered:
- The date of formation to determine September 1, 1984
- The school should be formed by January 1, 1986. Classes with cadets should begin on September 1, 1986.
- The first set of cadets was made in 1986.
- The first lesson was held on September 1, 1986.
- The first cadet flights began on May 14, 1989.
- The first release took place in October 1990.

August 1987 - a helicopter regiment (military unit 15402) with support units was relocated from Belarus to Ufa. In 1988, in the city of Davlekanovo, two UVP squadrons with support units were formed. An aviation training ground has been deployed in the Mishkinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 1989, Bezenchuk airborne garrison was transferred from the Syzran VVAUL to the Ufa VVAUL.
Flight training was provided by instructor pilots at the airfields Krasny Yar, Davlekanovo, Bezenchuk, Zvezda, Serdobsk. In June 1989, UVVAUL personnel participated in a rescue operation for those injured in a railway accident near the Ulu-Telyak station . 358 victims were evacuated.
In May 1990, flights were carried out to assist and evacuate flood victims in the Beloretsky and Burzyansky districts of Bashkiria.
In 1991, cadets of the disbanded Saratov Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots (Saratov VVAUL) were transferred to Ufa VVAUL [1]
By 1995, the school trained more than 1000 officers, for that year the school had 12 departments, the staff of teachers - 150 people, including 20 candidates of science.
At the end of 1999, the Ufa VVAUL ceased to exist in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation adopted in August 1998.
In total, during the existence of the school, 1,692 military pilots were trained. [2]
Now on the territory of the former school the Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Special Forces Unit of the Internal Troops are deployed.
Also in the territory of one of the former school buildings, a boarding school organized in 2000 with initial flight training is located. [3]
College Graduates
For 8 graduations, 1692 cadets [2] , 71 student officers of the correspondence department and 8 servicemen of Kazakhstan received diplomas of UVVAUL [2] . Six graduates were awarded a diploma with honors and a gold medal: Boris Boyarsky, Gennady Bagriy, Radik Asylbayev, Vladimir Karyaev, Ivan Gnetetsky, Vyacheslav Vlasov (studied in absentia), 63 graduates became holders of “red” diplomas.
Two sets of cadets of UVVAUL completed their studies at the Syzran Military Aviation Institute, including with a gold medal Raushan Kutluyarov and Roman Molodkin.
Three graduates of the school were awarded the title of Hero of Russia [2] :
- Andrey Anoschenkov - 1991 issue (posthumous).
- Alexander Blokhin - 1993 issue (posthumous).
- Alexander Omelyanenko - 1996 graduation. Continues to serve in the Armed Forces of Russia.
