Accident ATR 42 near Agadir - aircraft accident that occurred on August 21, 1994 . The airliner ATR 42-312 of Royal Air Maroc Airlines operated flight AT630 on the route Agadir - Casablanca , but about 10 minutes after take-off it crashed to the ground and completely collapsed [1] . Killed all 44 people on board - 40 passengers and 4 crew members.

Aircraft
ATR 42-312 (registration number CN-CDT, serial 127) was released in 1989 (the first flight took place on January 20). March 24 of the same year was transferred to Royal Air Maroc [2] [3] .
Crew and passengers
The crew of flight AT630 was as follows:
- The aircraft commander (FAC) is 32-year-old Younes Khayati.
- The co - pilot is Sofia Figuigui.
Two cabin crew worked in the cabin .

Holocaust
Flight AT630 departed from Agadir at around 18:40. After 10 minutes, at an altitude of 4800 meters, the plane suddenly went down into a dive and crashed into one of the slopes of the Atlas Mountains, 32 kilometers from Agadir Airport. All 44 people on board died.
Causes of the disaster
The commission, investigating the cause of the disaster, said that 32-year-old crew commander Younes Hayati was solely responsible for the disaster. An investigation showed that Hayati, shortly before the fall, turned off the autopilot and sent the plane at a peak [4] .
